This is the chain right now — not a dramatization. Public transfers stream in fully legible: who paid whom, how much. Shielded-pool deposits arrive in the other lane as unreadable hashes. A transparent ledger is surveillance by default. Privacy is the exception.
Every address shown is already public on-chain (same as the block explorer). The shielded lane shows only commitment hashes — no depositor, amount, or destination is knowable from them. That's the whole point.
